Had a day out in Bern today, very warm at 33C. Saw the parliament, city bears and famous clock tower. Then went for a swim/float down the Aare river in Bern for over a kilometre to cool down.

Today was a Willy Wonka moment, and I won the golden ticket. We went to see a chocolate factory, not just any, we went to Frey's, probably Switzerland's best chocolates.

A lovely castle overlooking the valley. Well preserved with most rooms decorated as they used to be.
Up above Baden is the castle ruin. Then it's down through the old town and across the covered wooden bridge across the River Limmat.
