Had a detour to Tsodilo Hills - 3000+ year old Rock art and a UNESCO world heritage site. It was amazing, the highest point in Botswana (which is otherwise very flat) at 1395m- it’s a spiritualWeiterlesen
Leisurely breakfast with a view of the Kavango! Then a 7 hour drive …..The road was amazing compared to what we were used to in Botswana (and U.K.!) but people seem poorer and we were often askedWeiterlesen

Drove through some more stunning scenery- Great open plains with lots of big hills/mountains. A few people had set up stalls selling curios by the side of the road and were trying desperately to getWeiterlesen

Amazing drive through the Naukluft mountains- over a couple of passes, impressive rock formations and photos just don’t capture the vastness of the desert and the plains. Now in a rather lovelyWeiterlesen
