Cruising up the Upper Thames between Maidenhead and Henley upon Thames- such houses, such money
Left Henley and travelled up the Thames - moored at Pangbourne Meadows.

Stopped for lunch at Sonning- very cute village with very old 13th century church

Beautiful quaint village of Dorchester- visited at 7.30 in the morning. A quick walk from the boat. Cruised up to Abingdon.

A day in Oxford. We dropped Alan Wright off in Oxford and went to the biggest bookstore I have ever been - Blackwells.
Next day we booked a Town and Gown walking tour for 90 minutes. We were shownWeiterlesen

Storm Agnes hit Ireland today and made for a miserable, wet and windy day. We missed the worst of it but only inside activities and driving were possible.

Caught the car ferry across to Killarney.
Drove the Ring of Kerry clockwise by starting in Kemare.
The day deteriorated and by 2.30 we just drove straight back to Killarney as the mist had set in andWeiterlesen
We left Country Kerry with a walk around the Torc Waterfall.
Off to Mill Street to meet Tim's sister Maura and brother Mikey for lunch.
To Cork after that but traffic awful so only walked in the CityWeiterlesen
