I booked a boat trip to the islands. It is guano islands and you could see the cliffs covered in white guano powder. The rock formations was quite unique as well as the candlebra on one of the dunes.Weiterlesen

What an surprise , this place is
exactly that , an oasis in the desert. It has a small pond or lake in the middle and one circular street that surrounds it . Very cool.

We went to see the Nazca lines via Arequipa. We climbed up the lookout tower and saw 3 lines. Very cool.

Arrived in Arequipa and just walked around the city , Plaza de Armas and ate cake in coffee shop. I have to be up at 3am tomorrow to go on the hike at Colca Canyon.

I woke up , walked 100m up the Canyon walk and gave up. I rode a mule to the top of the Canyon.

I had to make a trip to the Bolivian Embassy in Puno to get my Bolivian visa. I ended up paying only 30 usd and not 100usd.
