A trip to the museum of old and new art (MONA) which was very interesting and in a beautiful setting. Treated ourselves to Barilla Bay Oysters (delicious!) and Luca, Mischa and I played mini golf atLes mer
From all that I read and had been told by several locals, I would either hate or love this museum, known just as MONA. One UK tourist I met said she lasted less than half an hour and had to leave.Les mer
Finally, today was D-day for MONA! After I got here on the way to "Mt. Field" NP and it was closed.
On this point, let just say it is very special! Anyway the building itself is pretty cool.

After the caves, I did indeed visit the hot springs (not hot, maybe because of all the recent rain) and the swimming pool (excellent). I hung out u til the late afternoon, then drove back towardsLes mer
Headed to the MONA museum in North Hobart on the ferry. Then experienced awesome art, food, and wine in gorgeous grounds. Back to the centre and some shopping and wandering around the city centre.
Because of the bad weather (it rained the whole day) I took the ferry to Mona where I spend 4 hours. Mona has some really good and interesting pieces of art which convey ideas about humanity,Les mer
