Day 456: Exploring CopenhagenMay 16, 2018 in Denmark
Spent the day checking out downtown Copenhagen. Very nice city, quite low-rise and low density as well. Everyone seems pretty chilled out and polite, and very Germanic in their sense of orderliness. Quite a change after spending most of the year in Spain, France and Germany!
We wandered around the centre of town checking out the major landmarks, had lunch at a nice food hall place (though very expensive, not as bad as some others), and eventually decided on a harbour cruise as well. The water looked quite clean and inviting, and many of the locals were out sunbathing and jumping in the water.
Apparently it's pretty common for the brief summer here that people go a little crazy. Then for the other nine months of the year it's very quiet!Read more
