Starting the day visiting Fort McHenry it was here in 1814 that the British attempted to take Baltimore from the Americans in the 1812-1815 war (though not heavily stated in the museum, the war Czytaj więcej
After visiting the fort I got the bus back to the city centre to visit Federal Hill park (which offered great views out over the harbour). Then on to the inner harbour, which was fantastic, with Czytaj więcej
Finishing up my short time in Baltimore I visited the old boats dotted around the port, the most interesting was the US submarine Torsk, on August 15th 1945 it sank two Japanese boats, this was the Czytaj więcej
Next stop on my trip is Philadelphia, what an arrival at the stunning art deco train station, sadly this stunning station did not extend to the metro station just outside, which was an absolute sh*t Czytaj więcej
To start the day I decide to work the 6.6KM to the Eastern State Prison, walking down market street along Benjamin Franklin Parkway (to the Rocky Steps) and then turning back towards the prison.
