Unser Tag fängt mal wieder mit Wäsche waschen an. Wir haben einen Waschtrockner im Appartement und das müssen wir natürlich nutzen. Dann bummeln wir den Lambton Quay zum Regierungsviertel entlang.Leia mais

I then took a stroll along Wellington waterfront picking up a ham and cheese toastie for breakfast along the way.

Wellington ist die Hauptstadt Neuseelands und hat ca. 213.000 Einwohner.
Im Vergleich: Augsburg hat 300.000 Einwohner 😁
Der Park ist eher ein Wald auf einem Hochplateau. Es gibt sehr viele große Bäume und zum Glück genügend schatten. Nur der Aufstieg/Abstieg hat es in sich. 🥵
We get back in the car and head towards the most famous lookout in the city, that of Mount Victoria, where we stay until sunset to say goodbye to the North Island
After a run (wet vile weather) to get my bearings in the morning I then did even more steps on a hike up Mount Victoria which is right near by b&b. Fantastic views despite the less than great weather.
Very lengthy and protracted trip to get here but I've made it to the capital! This is the view from my room..
