Wo isch denn ez de Swimming-Pool?

    September 2, 2017 in Singapore ⋅ ⛅ 28 °C

    September 3, 2017 in Australia ⋅ ☀️ 24 °C

Mal luege, wases da alles so z'gseh git. Ich haus ez mal under Duschi 🚿 und denn gangi de Strand go aaluege 🏝

    New home, new standards

    September 3, 2017 in Australia ⋅ ⛅ 19 °C

Ich hocke ez i mim Zimmer i minere Unterkunft direkt nebed de schuel.

Is Wasser hani mi aber nanig traut, bi 23 Grad und eher starchem Wind, ischs mer also na z chalt gsi. Es absoluts Highlight isch de Sänger ade Strandwiese gsi, wo mich mitem Titel "no woman no cry" in Halbschlaf gsunge het. ☀️🌬💤🎵

    Sunsets in Byron

    September 6, 2017 in Australia ⋅ ☀️ 21 °C

So, let's start the first english footprint.
I'm really enjoying Byron Bay. The sunsets here are just amazing. I saw the first one at the beach on Tuesday & yesterday I went to the Lighthouse (most eastern point of australia). It was like a little hike to the Lighthouse, a longer walk than I tought it would be. I was a bit scared because of the noises in the bushes haha. Sometimes it sounded like the snake is going to catch me the next second. But the best Trick: Just put your Headphones on. Then you hear just the beat 😌🎵Read more

    Kangaroo & Surfing

    September 16, 2017 in Australia ⋅ ☀️ 23 °C

The last weekend was great! On saturday I went on a trip. We went to a wonderful waterfall, spent some time in a zoo and headed to the small, creepy village named Nimbin. In the zoo I saw a kangaroo for the first time in real life. I was bowled over by its cuteness 😍 I always thought that kangaroos have a fur like a cow. But it feels like one of a bunny, sooooo fluffy! I was so lucky that I had to make a selfie with the kangaroo 😄
Unfortunately it isn't allowed to hold the koalas in New South Wales, but I think I will catch that up during my east coast trip.
After the zoo we went to Nimbin. This is a really small village where just hippies live. Most of them live there since the 70ies. I think all the guys there do drugs, without exeption. Selling weed is illegal there as well, but everyone does it and the government don't care at all. There is also a hemp shop in Nimbin, where they "officially" don't sell drugs. Nimbin was nice to see but it is so tiny and I was a bit scared because of the hippies there haha.

On sunday I had my first surfing lesson & it was absolutely fun! I could stand on the bord on the first try and the teacher meant that I have a good balance 😎 We were surfing for 2 hours without any break and I was done after that. The surfboard was, without joking, nearly as big as two pascale's. So it was really hard for me to go out in the ocean. Sometimes a big wave came and I had no chance. I got carried away from the wave, it dragged me underwater, my surfboard skidded me away and I had no idea where the top or the bottom is. But despite of the fact that it was extremly exhausting for me to controll me and my board while walking in the ocean, surfboarding itself was real fun! I'm sure that wasn't the last time 😊

    I've just booked it all

    September 18, 2017 in Australia ⋅ 🌙 17 °C

Second try... I had started a really long footprint last thursday and when i was writing the last sentences my phone turned off. As I am, I'd lost my patience to write it again the same day. So let's try again now!

Frazer, Whitsundays, Magnetic Island, Great Barrier Reef, Rainforest, Great Ocean Road... I've just booked it all! My whole east coast trip is fixed and I'm going to see it all. I will travel on my own. This is the result of the facts that I had to change my class (long story). All of my friends in my class will studying here for 3 months and I will leave after 2 months. So I really haven't found anyone to travel with. But I'm looking forward travelling on my own. You can do whatever you want, hopefully meet many people and for sure: There will no one be who annoys you 😌 So I will go up to Cairns by bus, doing some stops at beatiful places. Then I will fly to Melbourne, stay there a few days. I will do the great ocean road with a groupe of people & a guide and therefore heading to Adelaide, where I will meet Philipp ♥️

    Just you & I & a camper
Philipp and I will have a weekend on kangoroo island and then we will fly to perth. There will wait a camper for us. We will explore the west coast in 3 weeks, spending christmas at the beach. After we will fly to Syndey, spending our last days there before we're going to fly back to Switzerland on 29th of December.

I booked the whole trip now (I heard my creditcard crying in the background 😅). This is gonna be awesome!

    Moved to Suffolk Park!

    October 3, 2017 in Australia ⋅ ⛅ 16 °C

Ufjedefall hani letzt Samstig zude Wendi & em Dave chöne wechsle. Anstatt 1 min z Fuess hani ez 20 min mitem Velo. Mis dihei isch ez nüme in Byron selber, sondern in Suffolk Park, en chline Vorort vo Byron.

    Fortune is fickle!

    October 3, 2017 in Australia ⋅ ⛅ 16 °C

On saturday, after I‘d moved to suffolk park, I enthusiastically bought a bike. Because one of my friend told me to, I went to a curious old man who sells bikes. He sold me an old but capable bike for 50 bucks. Luckily I went out at saturday night with my bike. I came home later and left my bike in front of the garage, next to Dave‘s car. After I woke up in the morning, Dave asked me if I left my bike at my friends house. I was confused till I noticed that my bike isn‘t in front od the garage anymore. First I just thought it‘s a bad joke or dream. Than I realized that I can‘t go anywhere without my bike. I got really pissed off! And dave as well. It‘s the first time something was stolen at their house! And it was my bike which I haven‘t even had 24 hours! So we searched the bike in the neighborhood, without success. So next to all the beautiful places here, the nice weather, the huge amount of freetime and the friendly people there are some things that are nerve-racking too. Fortunately, my hostdad told the story in his office and his boss offered him to lend his bike for the time I‘m staying here. So I got a bike again 🤗

Long story short: Fortune is fickle, but I do my very best to be happy-go-lucky! 🏝

    Attacked by a leech

    October 8, 2017 in Australia ⋅ ⛅ 21 °C

Gester hemmer en wunderschöne Usflug zude Minyon Falls gmacht. Mit dere super Truppe hets echt Spass gmacht. S Highlight isch en Bluetegel gsi, wo s Gfühl gha het mis Bluet isch s beste. Irgendwenn hani denn gmerkt, dass de tatsächlich a mim Fuess azapft het.

De wetti umbedingt mal i mim Garte! 😊
