Sticky Waterfalls and a scooter

My day started with renting a scooter. They checked my license this time, but even though I only have a drivers licence and not a scooter licence, they still let me rent it. Just with the warning that the police will possibly fine me 500THB. Wort the risk.
My first stop was a 1h ride to the Sticky Waterfalls (Buatong Waterfalls)!
What's so special about it? The white stones have a very good grip (sticky), so people are able to just walk up the waterfall (it isn't slippery).
And it even was free entry!
At the waterfall, I met Shana, a korean that lives in the US. We took each others picture and decided to meet up for dinner the next day.
Next to the waterfall was a little trail that led to a small lake, the source of the waterfall. It was very clear water. The atmosphere here was much more relaxed, as everyone was at the waterfall, but hardly anyone visits the source.
After my trip to Buatang Waterfalls, I went back, hid behind a bus when I saw the police and continued on to the next waterfall. Nice, but not as fun as the first one!
Close to it was the Monk's Trail, a trail that once the monks walked everyday, leading up to Wat Pha Lat, a temple.
It was a beautiful temple, nestled in between the forest and the mountain. I stayed there for a while, just listening to the water, the wind, taking a breath, trying not to die from overheating as it was hot as fuck and I had to wear a scarf to cover my shoulders (in temple grounds it is respectful to cover up).
Back down I went to my last stop for today, Wat Umong Suan Putthatham. A temple with a tunnel with buddha statues. The tunnels were just so low that I could still stand up, but anyone taller than me would have had to crouch. Ha!
In the evening, I went to the night market again. For dessert, I ate a banana spring roll with honey. Delicious, I should definitely get it again sometime!Read more
