Today went went into the heart of Guatemala city where the markets and stores are primarily owned by the Mayan Indians. I exchanged some US dollars for Quatzels so the shopping could begin!

Explored 4 villages located on the edge of Lake Atitlan
Some of which are only accessible via boat.
Explored the villages around Antigua. Up and down and around the side of an active volcano that was rumbling. We thought it was thunder until a local corrected me. Lava was last visible in February,Leggi altro
Explored a fancy golf club on the side of an active volcano (Maya Fuego) then an organic food-tp-table restaurant on the top of a mountain.
