The night was pretty wet and miserable but cleared up enough for a free drone show that was touring regional WA, run by Fremantle Biennale.

It was a special Mother’s Day on tour and Corinne and the kids woke at sparrow’s fart to watch Eurovision. I got up early too but not “crazy early” and cooked pancakes for everyone in the campLäs mer
The morning began with a visit to a Stonehenge replica just outside Esperance which was quite impressive.

The arvo was a trip around the Great Ocean Drive which encompassed Pink Lake, 11 Mile Beach and several of the beaches that we visited the day we went to Observatory Point. This was followed up byLäs mer
We got away late from the Esperance caravan park and it was a beautiful day for travel.

We left Hopetoun early, stopping in Ravensthorpe for fuel and coffee. Turned out to be quite a nice little town and I took some snaps of the flora in the main street before we embarked on a trip thatLäs mer
Morning was a coffee in town at the cutest cafe called Gourmandise & Co. followed by a walk up and down the street to look at all the shops and old architecture in the original historic part ofLäs mer
Later in the afternoon we managed to squeeze in some of the sights around Torndirrup National Park that we’d already heard a bit about.

It was a day of beautiful flora & fauna and amazing views. We rose early and got on the road to Castle Rock in Porongurup National Park where we were going to endeavour a category 5 climb with a 2.2kmLäs mer
