It is very hard to find freedom camping spots in the Dunedin Area due to council regs but with having my grandson and daughter in this area, and also born and bred in Dunedin we parked outside aMeer informatie

No pics from milton visited a friend for night but boy it was cold down their so with 10 days of rain due down we decided to turn around and go back up to the sun

On our way back up to Lakeside Domain before we go to Reefton after Easter. We stayed at an overnight freedom spot at the Timaru Carolyn Bay area, its a car park designated for fc but quite noisy.

Great place, that we have come back too as we are in process of getting COF done, in meantime clean facility, run by Selwyn Council in a fishing village. Showers, toilets, kitchen, power sites $15 nonMeer informatie

Max 2 nights freedom camp requiring a donation in honesty box , toilets are flushing, no water or bins.
A little noisey being beside state hw1 and train line. Ok for overnight stop off

A lovely feeling place, currently has flush toilets and potable water access but will be shut down over winter, the upper reserve will be open with long drop and 1 water tap.

Freedom camping at greymouth boat ramp, clean flushing toilets, a lovely area, 10 nights in a 30 day period, 3 days stint at a time.
