Starting out from Vancouver we drove down to Washington State to explore the Olympic Peninsula and to see Mount Rainier.
First stop was the little town of Port Angeles. Fun fact, this city can be seen from Victoria on Vancouver Island.
Driving up the mountain ridge was amazing! From up there we were able to see Canada to the north.
Forks and its surrounding always fascinated me, as I love the movie twilight. It was cool to see it in real life, even so they did not film any of the movies there.
The capital of Washington State and yet such a cute little town. The downtown core is easily to walk by foot and offers lots of local art.
One of my favorite places I ever visited! The fall alpine flowers were so pretty and we even saw a black bear eating blueberries. So worth the 3 hour drive from Olympia.
Last stop in Seattle. As always we spent a night here to walk around downtown and its farmers market. Always worth the while!
