Dopo tre mesi io e il Raffi ci siamo ritrovati 🥰❤️ Ritrovati in un super paradiso!
Abbiamo passato 5 giorni sull’isola di Kri, alla Nus Homestay, dove la nostra camera era una casetta sull’acqua cristallina con vista sul tramonto.
Per cinque giorni siamo stati gli unici ospiti alla Nus Homestay, abbiamo mangiato molto bene, fatto tanto snorkeling e immersioni con il divecenter della Turtle Homestay.
È stato molto rilassante e ci siamo goduti ogni momento e tramonto.
Ora ci prepariamo per i prossimo cinque giorni su un’isola piccolissima, chiamata Arborek! Seguirà un nuovo post😊

After three months Raffi and I met each other again 🥰❤️ and we went in a super paradise!
We spent 5 days on the island of Kri, at the Nus Homestay, where our room was a small house on the crystal clear water with a view of the sunset.
For five days we were the only guests at Nus Homestay, we ate very well, did a lot of snorkeling and diving with the Turtle Homestay dive center.
It was very relaxing and we enjoyed every moment and sunset.
Now we prepare for the next five days on a very small island, called Arborek! A new post will follow😊Read more

Verlängerung auf Kri

Während Lieske nach zwei Nächten abreiste und weiter auf die Philippinen flog, blieben David und ich noch weitere sechs Nächte. Wir ließen die Seele baumeln und Genossen ganz bewusst jede Minute.

Nach 16 Tagen Raja Ampat waren unsere Seelenakkus voll geladen. Die Unterkünfte waren mehr als einfach. Aber vielleicht war diese Einfachheit genau das, was diesen Ort anders machte. Ohne fließend Wasser, Strom nur für ein paar Stunden am Tag, kaum Internet und recht einfacher Küche (Reis, ungewürztes Gemüse und Tofu morgens, mittags, abends), waren wir Teil der Natur. Nicht mehr und nicht weniger. Wir lebten mit der Sonne, dem Mond und den Gezeiten. Und genau das war die Magie an diesem Ort. So anders und gleichzeitig so wunderschön und unvergesslich. Letzter (Tauch-)Tag

Wir können es noch nicht ganz sein lassen und haben uns entschieden heute doch noch ein letztes Mal zusammen tauchen zu gehen. Von unserem Homestay schippern wir quer über die Dampier Straße zur Insel Kri. Von Dort aus geht es zu zwei Tauchplätzen, die wir zwar schon kennen, aber noch in sehr guter Erinnerung haben. Am Blue Magic Riff treffen wir zwei alte Bekannten: den Schwarzspitzen Riffhai mit der markanten Kerbe in der Fine und einen der beiden Oktopoden. Der ist heute ganz und gar nicht scheu und spielt ein bisschen mit Tims Riffstab, versucht ihn zu klauen und wickelt sich sogar ein bisschen um seinen Unterarm.
Zum krönenden Abschluss belohnen wir uns mit einem sehr entspannten und langen, 66 Minuten - Tauchgang mit viel buntem Riffgetummel.
Danach heißt es langsam packen, Reis mit Soß essen, Sternenhimmel bewundern und unseren Freund den Tüpfekuskus nochmal besuchen, bevor sich die Wege morgen Vormittag trennen werden.Read more

My turn, the last one... Jeff left me roam on my own, and I enjoyed myself looking at all the weirds corals, I found a minuscule anemone in a weird poisonous coral and on the side there was a very rare shrimp... This kind of experience is not possible with snorkeling, you need time hanging in front of the corals to find their innermost secrets. Here there weren't sharks or many turtles, but focussing on the secrets of the corals gave me even more emotions!Read more

Snorkeling at Lumba Lumba Beach

I couldn't stay in my hammock knowing about the beatiful undewater world at Lumba Lumba beach, so I went back to snorkel there one last time. I was rewarded with sighting plenty of colourful fish, lots of reef shars and a turtle which I encountered several times. That was a wonderful experience.Read more

Taking advantage of the low tide

Martin and Rituel came over because we wanted to go snorkeling together but there were thousands of stinging jellyfish in the water so we went for a walk along the island instead. I'd never been there before and it was quite nice. There's a few more homestays along the coast, some of which are really nice and well kept. Due to Corona, however, they were all pretty much abandonned. The last one seemed to be at least prepared to welcome visitors. It's a the Western peak of Kri, a beautiful spot with very nice views of Mansuar - the next island. After we get back I tried to organize a new camera from Jakarta but failed. I had lunch and started a new book.Read more

Diving around Kri and Mansuar

On our first day, we went diving at Yenbuba and Ransior in the morning and at Kuburan in the afternoon. Unfortunately, water got into my camera housing and the noise of the alarm was really annoying. Furthermore, the camera fogged very quickly, so I did not manage to take many good photos. We did see some very cool fish and mammels: a carpet shark, a crocodile shark, a tiny little octopus (or squid???), turtles and so many more...Read more
