ПутешественникWhat an interesting day! Does the guy have the birds just for interest? Presume he's not selling if people are walking and carrying their stuff? Do you pay for the coffee and oranges or is it a gift to the pilgrims?
ПутешественникHe has a few trinkets for sale but most pilgrims don’t buy anything purely because they would have to carry them. The coffee and snacks are for a donation - the hope is that those who can’t afford it, will get for free or very little and those that can afford will give a little more - the same as the religious Albergues.
