A hike up to the top of Mt Eden with Brad and Pam.
Date night! After our hike we sent Florence back to the Airbnb with Brad and Pam and we went back into downtown Auckland to explore. We started off at Dr. Rudi's rooftop bar. Dr. Rudi is a variety ofЧитать далее
We went to Mentatz, a Japanese restaurant on Lorne St - famous for all the different asian restaurants and quality food. We ordered a variety of small dishes - spicy bamboo shoots (VERY SPICY), friedЧитать далее
When we left the restaurant we set out in search of gelato - but it started raining. To escape the worst of the rain we jumped into the first bar we found - My Bar. We shared a sample paddle with 3Читать далее

Our quest to stay off main roads led us to Deep Creek Brewing, a chance for Jason to explore while I hung out in the car with a sleeping Florence.
We stopped here to stretch our legs and see the ocean for the first time. Florence was not a fan but it was absolutely gorgeous. Mid 30s outside, cool but not cold ocean water. Perfectly refreshing.
