One week I walked around “Auckland“ and tried to set up for a bicycle tour! But everything is so much more expensive even the second hand bikes. It seems that the tour is not happening.

I went to the ancient "Kauri" forest. Where I could see the world biggest "Kauritree". (29,9m high and a girth of 16,41m) It's name is "Te Matua Naghere" what means father of the forest! as well asЧитать далее
A very wet morning but it didn't really matter because I was going to do a bit caving!
But first I had do drive for 2h from the west coast back to the highway.

Today I stopped by at the "Beggins". The drive to middle earth took a while but eventually I got there payed the ridiculous price and got to the shire!

A very nice town, on the lake "Taupo". Over the lake you can already see the snowy peaks of the volcanos at the "Tangariro" NP.
