A long 13 miles planned. - turned out to be 15.1. Part of the trail is called the knee wrecker so I need to be careful. DL not feeling well today so he is taking a bus or taxi and we’ll meet up later.

Traveler Poala speaks very little english so I didn't know much about her and her journey. What I did know was she is originally from Peru and have lived in Italy for the past 18 years. I crossed paths with her back in Pomplona. Found out she was doing half the camino this year and will come back and finish next year. She is really a nice person. I will miss her sharing a part of her grapefruit with me. I look for grapefruit at every market, can't find any, then she always has one. Cool.

Danke Leo für deine Art des Schreibens. Es macht Spaß dir"zuzuhören". Ich freue mich, dass du die Gemeinschaft dort so genießen kannst. Für mich ist diese internationale Caminofamilie immer mit das Schönste. Was die Achteckige Kirche anging: Irgendetwas hat es mit 100 Toren auf sich, durch die man ziehen muss. Der Wandelgang rund um die Kirche hat 33 Tor(bögen). Man muss also die Kirche 3Mal umrunden um danach durch das Eingangstor, das 100zte Tor, einzutreten. So eine Legende. An den Weinbrunnen erinnere ich mich ganz genau. Es war früh morgens und es wurde ein richtig heißer Tag. Ich hatte direkt meine Wasserflasche ausgekippt und voll Wein gefüllt. Das heilige Gesöff hat mich den Tag durchstehen und die Blase am Fuß vergessen lassen. Weiterhin ein Buen Camino [Reiner]
Traveler Danke dir, Reiner! :) Die Legende zur Kirche kannte ich noch nicht. Und dass der Weinbrunnen so manchen Pilger den Tag gerettet hat, kann ich mir vorstellen :D
