We adopted a stray dog today.. or "independent dog" as they like to call them here. We named him "Perro" ("dog" in Spanish :-) ).

It was a long drive today. 110km from Monteverde to La Fortuna, 30km of which was on unpaved gravel road.. in "Bumpy", our "not a 4WD" Corolla. So relieved when we got to the paved road!

3 hour drive back to San Jose to drop off car. Lesson learnt: No more driving in Costa Rica unless you like very narrow roads, heavy rain, windy bends and drivers who stop anywhere and do whateverMeer informatie
