Devastating
11 de agosto de 2023, Irlanda del Norte ⋅ ☀️ 16 °CThe EV charging situation in Ireland (be it NI, be it RoI) is devastating. Hardly any chargers, not even 22kW, not to mention rapid chargers. And most existing ones are out of order. And it'll getLeer más
Viajero It’s much less densely populated in Donegal, so you will find it even more difficult to access EV infrastructure. Also the vegan scene is limited too, however we did find the best restaurant in Donegal, with Vegan/Vegetarian options, last Friday in Ramelton, ie the Bridge Bar. You would need to book. Harvey’s Point Hotel in Donegal town is excellent, but limited too. Booking required also. And there is the Chilli Shaker Indian restaurant in Letterkenny if you are stuck. The best coffee shop is The Counter in Letterkenny. The benefit of low population density is that you will have the entire photographic location to yourself, as I did at Fanad Lighthouse, the Great Sea Arch (note: very slippery, I fell and broke my tripod head) in Pollet, Crohy Head (more sea arches), and Portsalon Beach, at sunrise or sunset. Note Murder Hole Beach car park closes before sunset.
Vegan EV Travellers Thank you for the heads up! Letterkenny will be our first choice then for both eating and charging!
Vegan EV Travellers Looking forward to less people, NI is sooooo overcrowded....
