Traveler Then on with the day trip. We went to my Ainsley lookout for a great view of the city and surrounds. Next to the Carillon which was closed but we got close. Looking for a spot for lunch so ask a couple of locals who sent us to The Pier. A great choice. On Lake Burley Griffin. Good enough food and cold drinks. Next to the arboretum. Ok. Many many plants. A good display of Bonsai but the rest was average. The native and Bush Tucker garden was dry and only marked with the plant name. Not what it was used for. A good lookout at Dairy Farmers Hill. Next to the embassies. Fun. Then back to camp. So beyond warm. But meant to be 7 tonight. We’ll see
