If its Thursday it must be St Moritz. Train to Zurich tomorrow and then home. Am filled with so many memories, wonderful scenery - such a different country.
Just wonderful. Location actually Disentis, I set it as near as I could.
And the coldest. Took the highest cable - car in the world up to 3883 metres and -1c. Apart from cold, got breathless - less oxygen. At this spot, Klein Matterhorn, wonderful views and you can seeもっと詳しく
Up early, then the train to Gornergrat. Wonderful views all round of mountains and glaciers, and little old Matterhorn. There are Marmots in these hills, they burrow into the earth- some are giants.
Sad farewell to the beautiful city of Lucerne. Spectacular rail journey to Zermatt. A noise - "Mummy, Mummy please buy me that giant Toblerone". It's only the view from my balcony.
Just back from Stanserhorn (Sshhtanshenhorrrn) right to the summit. Wonderful 360 degree view of the Alpes, including the Matterhorn, Eiger and Jungfrau Joch. Started up with an ancient wooden trainもっと詳しく

If it was not for the cloud, with a few breaks, the views, even as far as Germany would be great. In the few breaks I took a photo of the Matterhorn and the Jungfrau. Other photos of the journey here
Tomorrow, I will ascent this monster. Named after Pontius Pilate. In the Middle Ages people believed that the Lake was haunted by the restless spirit of Pilate, ascents of Pilatus were forbidden. Iもっと詳しく
