Drove eastward out of Palm Springs, through the Joshua Tree national park. Very beautiful desert landscapes. Kept heading eastwards into the desert and eventually arrived in Phoenix late afternoon.Weiterlesen

Heading back westwards now from Colorado, we drove for a few hours through basically empty desert. Eventually we arrived at Monument Valley and took lots of photos of the buttes. Also got some goodWeiterlesen

Trish Forrester Yes, I remember that feeling as well - like looking at a painting. I also get that feeling at Echo Point as well, but on a somewhat smaller scale!
Trish Forrester I wonder whether the lady that moved was allergic to animal fur or something, and that's why she had to be moved... I think you might be eating a lot of salads when you return ;)
Reisender I doubt it, she probably wouldn't have even known he was there! He was settled by the time she arrived, and the barking only occurred near the end of the flight.
