We went to Tian'anmen Square. It is within the top ten largest city squares in the world and it has great cultural significance as it was the site of several important events in Chinese history. TheWeiterlesen
For the last day we visited the Forbidden City. We had to buy the ticket in advance to go there because only (ONLY?!) 80.000 tickets are sold for each day.

We took a taxi from Beijing to the Xizhazi village (2 hours trip) and we startedWeiterlesen

to a really good restaurant to let us try the famous Beijing Roasted Duck.

Of course we couldn't resist two weeks without playing some table tennis.
So we found a ping pong shop. We bought some rubbers, a blade and some balls.
