Started our Thanksgiving Sunday with a fabulous included breakfast at a bakery around the corner from our guest house. The town and bakery was packed with Camino walkers and cyclists as it seems itLæs mere
We departed Pontevedra and wandered over another an old pedestrian bridge to cross the river. The day was largely in the woods with a few very tiny towns - read a few houses and maybe a farm. Took theLæs mere
Started our day with a very full breakfast at our guest house outside Calas de Reis and then Mom drove us into town to begin our journey on the trail. Lots of people on the trail today but it wasLæs mere
Started our final day on the Camino in Padron (same name as the famous tapas peppers). It was a long day; 21.5 kms. We walked through small little hamlets and some forested areas. Saw lots of catsLæs mere
The only one I know the name of is the Calan lily.
Sandra's happy place. Jackpot on day 13. We came through a tiny town Rueiro where it seems someone has set up a bit of a cat sanctuary. Some were too shy for a photo but there were many.
Since we arrived in Portugal these feet have walked 258 kms and 386,824 steps across Portugal and Spain.
Obtained our Compostela and distance certificates and wandered town. I like my Latin name!
