I have been in Primosten several times. Its just such a cute little town! Primosten old town looks like a small island which is connected to the mainland. I could walk for hours through the small alleys! Besides it has really nice cafes and restaurants and a small marina. You could also visit bigger towns like Trogir which is just 30 mins away. This town is sooo beautiful and also part of the UNESCO. Like everywhere in Croatia the adriatic sea is crystal clear and oh so blue!Read more

Rovinj

Rovinj is one of my favourite cities in Croatia. I think I've been there more than 5 times for sure. It's in the south- so pretty close to Munich. This part of Croatia is called Istra. Since Rovinj is just 1 hour or even less away from the Italian border, it's quite influenced by the Italian cuisine. They serve a lot of pasta dishes with truffles which is by far my favourite! Rovinj is located next to the beach with a little marina and lots of tiny little alleys, which I love! You can get "lost" and you will always find other little secret streets and hidden spots. Its not to big but also not to small. Rovinj has huge amount of cute little cafes and amazing restaurants. I just love it and I will come back again and again :)Read more

As I have already mentioned, eat pasta with truffles all day every da ;) But besides, Rovinj has some great other food to offer, so here are my recommendations:
Tipico old town: My absolute number one restaurant. They offer Croatian cuisine with a modern twist. Their menue has something for everyone- meat, fresh fish, pasta, salads and also really tasty vegetarian and even vegan dishes.
Gelato lovers should go to Chocolat. They have a wide range of different flavours. Try the one with dark chocolate and orange or chilli! For drinks at night, go to Valentino. There you will sit on the rocks and watching the ocean while enjoying the best cocktails in town.Read more

Dalmatian cuisine means fresh fish- a lot of fresh fish! Have some black risotto, real Bosnian food (Cevapcici!!!) and most important GELATO :) For all who also have a sweettooth like me, try the dessert called Rozata! I promise you won't regret it!
My recommendations: Taj Mahal for authentic bosnian food, Dolce Vita for the best gelato in town, Restaurant Rozario for black risotto and Restaurant Kopun for typical Croatian cuisine.Read more

Dubrovnik should be on everyones bucket list! It has a reason why its part of the UNESCO! Stroll around the city, take a walk on the city wall, go for a swim in the crystal clear adriatic sea and try some authentic croatian dishes! I went by myself and enjoyed it so much. I stayed in Mlini, which is a tiny town close to Dubrovnik old town. It took me only 15 mins by bus. If you have more time explore the small islands around Dubrovnik or explore Montenegro and Bosnia!Read more

My friends and I have rent quite a big house right next to the beach and close to Zadar old town. The city itself is nice, but definitely not one of my favourites, but the location is perfect for doing some day trips. Anyways the water is just beautiful, so blue and so clear! We enjoyed every second :)Read more
