Easy drive to Dover (~ 2 hours) 1 hour queue at passport control, and sailing (12:10) delayed by 1/2 hour.

Very pleasant campsite with pitches set amongst the trees.
Mix of static and touring pitches.
Got pitch #65 - conveniently located about 30 metres from shower block with hedges on 3 sides.

Friendly, clean and well organised campsite in Ardennes area near river with adjacent pool/beach for swimming. Shady outdoor cafe attached to reception.

Arrived fairly late, due to 4hour wait for AA breakdown at previous campsite. We gave up waiting and decided to risk driving with the broken anti roll bar support.

Too many pretty villages along the Alsatian wine route to stop off at..we drove through Mittelberghiem, had lunch in Obernai, walked through Berghiem and had a stroll through very pretty main streetMeer informatie
Initially we thought this campsite (camping Jungfrau) was a bit too much like a busy ski resort but it was very central with a communal kitchen, living area and a Sri Lankan food truck on Mon/Tues..Meer informatie
Getting out of the cable car at Grütschalp wowed us with its stunning view of Jungfrau (tallest mountain in Europe)....along the pathway to Mürren, the three peaks, Jungfrau, Monch & Eigar kept usMeer informatie
This was part of the Swiss adventure i was looking forward to the most and it didn't disappoint! The gondola ride to the top (First), was a scenic 25 min ride over pretty villages.

Paragliding was fun and lot easier than i thought, though did feel bit queezy when pilot did some rollercoaster moves.

Cycle friendly historical old town. Interesting cathedral, it somehow survived the allied bombings in WW2 when much else didn't.
