    Datlana Falls

    May 24, 2016 in Vietnam

Without knowing it we had returned to where we had done our canyoning which was a good thing because we got to explore the rest of what the rest of the park had to offer which included waterfalls, archery, a luge, sampling some artichoke tea (and Jack peeing over the edge of a waterfall).

    Datanla Waterfall

    October 11, 2015 in Vietnam

Beautiful falls. Last stop on our city tour.
2 ways to travel up and down, rollercoaster and walking. The walking is on a good path though on a good decline/incline. Good for going down, hard work for coming back up.
    We took the walking ...

3 waterfalls in one price . 1st is a nice single 20 Meyer drop over various rocks. There was a wedding photo shoot happening and bride was clutching her dress high to get around with groom lagging holding her bouquet. Some fellow guests I think dressed nicely in a type of Indian folk wear and 1 in a beautiful kimono style, who wouldn't get off the bridge .

2nd waterfall was a smaller affair, likely only 5 metres downstream from the first. The 3rd much larger and required an additional payment, us being cheap, we tried to view it from the pay only platform. For paying guests there is a elevator going to the bottom and walkway to enjoy.

    Cable car from robin hill

    October 11, 2015 in Vietnam

Cable running from top of robin hill to the monastery. Didn't see much at robin hill. Nice views of the city with mountain backdrop.

The cable car runs a couple of kilometres and cost was 50,000 dong per person. Sounds a lot but only 1.50 pound.

Pine trees didn't look as dense up close. Saima convinced of the different shades of evergreen pines.

    Beautiful views, worth the cost.

Tour guide met as at end, a supposedly 20 minute drive but faster than the cable car which went straight and took 8 minutes. He really wanted us to take the cable car.Read more
