Yesterday we travelled back to Xi'an to start our trip home. We passed over the largest inland lake in China.
I have lots of photos and stories to share, met some great people and are some great food.
Today we explored old Kashgar and had a huge lunch, traditional Uyghur lunch. Getting used to chilli 🌶 but not too much!
And we'll be appearing on local TV apparently.
This morning we visited the famous livestock market but I didn't buy a camel today...

This morning we went to ancient Yar city. Ruins of a city which existed from the 5th to the 13th century. It was duug into the ground, rather than built up.
Leaving our lovely guide Amy, fast train and modern hotel with SOFT bed and tasty dinner.
Sand dunes and 🐫 was the activity of the day. Tomorrow we get onto another fast train headed to Turfan.
