Arrived in Playa Del Carmen - Very hungover bus ride from Cancun after Coco Bongo. Wandered around Playa del Carmen, got ice cream almost immediately as it was so hot. Sat in a restaurant for lunch as it chucked it down with rain.

2 days in Cozumel. Ferry over in the morning from Playa Del Carmen. Snorkelling whilst Barnes went diving. Tacos for dinner near the hostel.
2nd day pool day and out for cocktails!

Ferry to playa del Carmen and then bus to Akumal. Very hot walk and sweaty travel. Swim at the hostel pool and then to our first Cenote!
Day 2 went to Tulum, not that impressed and almost died of heat. Had a look around Tulum town and then headed back to Playa Akumal and swam with turtles and lay on the beach.Les mer

Travel from Akumal - Tulum - Bacalar. Freaked out in Tulum because the bus was really late and we couldn't understand Spanish.
Afternoon wander around Bacalar and swim off the pier. Amazing dinner and Pina Coladas

Decided didn't want to pay for the ruins as too expensive. Wander around Valladolid, found the park at the Centre which had dancers.
Cenote Oxmann visit on day 2 which was amazing - rope swing!
Back to the park in the evening, tired food from the stalls. Corn with mayo was not great, but cheese and Nutella pancake thing was surprisingly good.Les mer

3 days in Holbox.
Lots of lying in the sun and beach. Nights out with the hostel. Tired but just trying to tan, some big storms!!
Tried to see bioluminescence in the evening, was not as successful as we hoped.
