Focused on the Colloseum and Forum today ,
We used Rick Steves audio guide to go though the major temples and Senate buildings in the forum and then headed to the Colloseum.
We went on a walking tour of Rome and visited lots of spots you'd miss just coding the big sites, ranging from baroque art in churches to carved Pillars commemorating Roman emperors
Visited Dachau which makes it two concentration camps this trip , then ended with a visit to the best of the beer halls in the city according to the guide and a local.

Took the train from Lucerne to Munich, arrived in the evening , checked into our fancy hostel and had dinner with one of Glen's friends from uni who now works locally
From Thalwil we headed to Lucern, took a walk around town to see the sites, lost an umbrella, walked the 500 year old fort walls and saw the famous Lion sculpture.
