Fahrt nach Bali
April 28 in Indonesia ⋅ ⛅ 29 °C
🇺🇸 The harbor on Nusa Penida is much more rudimentary compared to the one on Bali from which we departed. There's a small path along the promenade where mostly scooter rental and taxi drivers hope for good business. A bit further down the road are the boat providers. We had already purchased our tickets in advance and had to wait about 30 minutes before we could board the boat.
On the boat itself, loud and fast techno music was playing, which was initially jarring, but one gets used to it over the course of the journey. The boat itself definitely sped across the water much faster, and there were a few passengers who felt uneasy about it.
Upon arriving in Bali, we were approached by two German tourists who needed to get to the airport but didn't have enough money for a taxi. I gave them some cash and they sent me the equivalent amount via PayPal. Another piece of good news was that our scooter was still at the harbor and, furthermore, the correct helmets were still attached to it. That's something you can never be completely sure of in Bali.Read more
