Enjoying time in NYC
When being in NY at Christmas this place is also on the must see list. The Rockefeller Centre converts over to an ice skating rink and is a huge favourite with the tourists to say they skated at the Rockefeller.
Straight across the road is Sacs Fifth Ave, and the light show on the side of the building was just incredible, no photos alone will do the show justice, you have to be there to experience it.
By this stage the girls had had enough, and although we were pretty tired from walking, Sue and I still headed there seeing as it was only a few short blocks from the Roosevelt. So glad we did.Read more
Liberty Island & Ellis Island, Guggenheim and Central Park. Night shots at the Rockerfeller.

Empire State Building.. Brooklyn Bridge.. Freiheitsstatue.. Central Park.. komplett Manhattan :)) Atemberaubend.. Wow
Mega tolle Aussicht vom Top of the Rock
Our final day before moving on. I wanted to go back and have a look at the Saks Christmas windows so we went back to give Times Times a fair go then wander 5th and Maddison Avenues. Because we were earlier in the day than our previous days the crowds were not so bad and were able to see everything we wanted a second look at.
I had read that the Christmas windows at Macy’s were very special but they don’t hold a candle to the Saks’ windows. The theme for the windows this year is Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. My photos don’t do the windows justice but the are also kind of special in that they also have New York reflected in them.Read more
Winter Wonderland without the snow! Experiencing the Radio City Rockettes Christmas Spectacular. It was indeed spectacular, and Radio City Music Hall itself was just old time glamour! Also a lot of fun sipping hot chocolate while watching the skaters at Rockefeller Center and taking its other surrounding sights.Read more
