Lots and lots of gulls, no penguins, but tons of seals!
Got up unreasonably early to see the sunrise. Worth it.
No seals, penguins or sea lions spotted, but still a really beautiful vantage point.
Supposedly the most photographed waterfall in the whole country.
Apparently the surveyor had a sense of humor... (it's that little lump above the sign)
A bit hard to tell at first but the lumpy beach is actually the remains of a petrified forest.
Probably the most recognized site in New Zealand. And penguins! (lower right; three of them standing on the rocks)
Including Mirror Lakes, Mt. Christina, and the Homer Tunnel.
