Traveler It's true... hiking sometimes keeps one's brain occupied more than one expects, leaving less time for the prayerful contemplation that we sometimes expect. I was mentioning to G after I did a solo day hike of 18 miles that I felt like I never actually "unplugged" because I was busy watching terrain, thinking about logistics, and singing to avoid bears.
