God Grants me the Desire of my Heart

    August 12, 2018 in the United States ⋅ ☀️ 70 °F

A trip to Israel has been on my bucket list but seemed too far out of reach. One Sunday in August 2018 I visited my oldest son's church, Lake City Community Church, and heard they were putting together an Israel tour for the following year. At about the same time I heard an online sermon where the pastor said God will test the desires of our prayer request... Is it a whim? Pray once and forget about it? Or is it an ernest yearning, a deep desire of the heart in ongoing prayer? My desire to go to Israel was the latter. I prayed consistently through the fall asking my heavenly Father boldly if I could go but only if it was His will. I felt God was giving me the go-ahead so in faith I applied for my passport and submitted my deposit. I was still trusting God that He would provide the funds for me to go. In October I checked my mail and I received an envelope with my passport and right next to it was a check from my youngest son. It was my sign and as I skipped back to my house I could see God in heaven laughing joyfully and pleased with giving me, His daughter, such a wonderful gift. I fell to the floor in thanksgiving to my heavenly Father for granting me the desire of my heart.Read more

The Purpose of this Spiritual Pilgrimage

    May 6 in the United States ⋅ 🌙 59 °F

Throughout the Bible, Israel is the epicenter of the world. Directions in the Bible are based on where it is to Israel. God promised this land to Abraham, David built the Holy Temple in Jerusalem, and in this land God sent His son, Jesus Christ, to die for the sin's of the world.
In this spiritual pilgrimage, I want to walk where Jesus walked, seek the Lord with all my heart and have a life changing encounter with God. As the Bible comes to life, I will see where prophecy has been fullfilled in past and where prophecy will be fullfilled when Jesus returns.Read more

It is cold in Los Angeles. No sun. Wondering if the dirty clouds are smog.

Waiting 3 hours to board the Israeli National Airlines EL AL. So cool to see the Star of David proudly displayed on the plane.

    Day 2 – Wednesday, May 8, 2019

    May 8 in Canada ⋅ ⛅ 46 °F

It's a new day and we are closer to Israel.
When we arrive in Israel, we will travel northward to our hotel for one night in the coastal area near Tel Aviv. The remainder of the day is free to walk along the Mediterranean, relax, and have dinner. The time is right for a personal devotional with the sunset over the “Great Sea.” Meet your Israeli guide, enjoy a time of prayer of thanks for safety and the special blessings ahead, a prayer for the people of the "Promised Land," and a good night’s rest.Read more
