Chapman College in Rotorua. A private year 1-10 school that is set inside an old warehouse which has been converted to learning spaces. Multi levelled with a large gym space at the back. AwesomeRead more
Sonrise is a tiny year 1-10 school with a roll of just 60 students. Beautiful setting in the Hawkes Bay. Another AstroTurf to look at and get ideas from.
Lunch stop in Wairoa on the way to Gisborne. Heavy Mongrel Mob presence.
First stop for Wednesday. Hastings Christian School, who hosted us for breakfast with their staff which was a good chance to connect and talk about their school & area. Year 1-13 with a roll of 240.Read more
Final school for Tuesday. Year 1-13 state integrated with a roll of 550. Brand new 2 story building for their high school students.
Just outside of Palmerston North. The only boarding school we visit on our tour. Great sense of history and pride in the school here.
