    Gold Coast, Mara and Hotels

    December 21, 2018 in Australia ⋅ 🌬 28 °C

    Week 4

    January 30 in Australia ⋅ ⛅ 28 °C

    Hi guys ♥️

Today it’s one month since we left Switzerland. Are you missing us? 😇
Of course we are missing every single one. However, we are reallyyyyy enjoying our time here and thinking about staying here👀😂. Even though we didn’t see even the half of those things we have planned to visit, we already fell in love with australia. The people here are veeery kind and always in a good mood. Everything is very well organized and super clean!

This week was nothing new on our schedule. The weather is finally better and we really enjoyed it ☀ 🏝. We had to plan some of our travels for once we finished school.
On Thursday we had a friendingsession at school. It‘s kind of a speeddating, it was funny and good to improve our english but verry noisy.
We started our Thursday evening at floridagarden, this is a park where you can do BBQ and are allowed to drink outside. We had a lot of fun and went clubbing the whole night as we skept school on Friday. The reason why, we‘ll tell you in the next post.

    Love and miss you.
    xoxo Meret&Fendi ♥️

p.s: the guy in the video is Colin, one of our schoolmates who had to correct the homework’s infront of the whole class. 👀😂

    Weekend Week 7

    February 23 in Australia ⋅ ☁️ 26 °C

Our Friday night was quite calm. We picked up something from the Chinese restaurant 🥡🍱 and went to Sara. We had a lovely girls night with lot of talks followed by a bath in her whirlpool.
On Saturday we decided to sleep in as we were not getting much sleep since we have been here😴.
We made ourself ready and went to our first Rugby Game! We really looked forward to the Game as Bryan (our Teacher) told us a lot about it and set our expectations very high. First we watched the women’s game which was very interesting. It was a special game as the best of the NRL’s Indigenous Australian and Mãori players played against each other. The Australian Indigenous All-Stars (IAS)are the Aboriginal Australians and the Mãori are the indigenous from New Zealand.

You might have heard about the video of the nine-year-old boy, Quaden Bayles, which has gone viral. Quaden was filmed while crying his eyes out because he was getting bullied for being dwarfish.
He had been invited by the entire IAS-Team. Quaden led out the league team in front of thousands of cheering fans! This moment gave us goosebumps!
After that the players perfomed the traditional War Cry and Haka ahead of the game.
    Proudly they represented their cultures.
    The atmosphere was stunning!
    Unfortunately the IAS lost.
However, we really enjoyed whatching the game and of course the players... as you can see they weren’t that bad👀🔥.
Eventhough we were pretty exhausted from the whole day, we decided to go out as there was an afterparty. It was probably one of the best parties we have had since we got here. As it was an afterparty from the game most of the people were locals respectively, Aborigines.
We had a lot of fun and finally we had the chance to interact with other people instead of just Swiss guys.
Due to the bad weather, on Sunday we went to the shopping mall to look for a festival outfit as we are going to the Ultra Festival next weekend 🥳 Unfortunately we didn‘t find anything so we spent the rest of our Sunday evening poking around the internet searching for an outfit.

    Love and miss you!
    xoxo Meret&Fendi ♥️

    Week 8

    February 28 in Australia ⋅ ⛅ 28 °C

    Hi loves ♥️

    Week 8 is over!
Our outfits for the festival arrived and fortunately they fit us!🙌🏾
Due to Elviras birthday we organized a surprise party for her and went to the florida garden on thursday evening to toast her birthday at midnight.
As we drunk way to much we decided to skip school on friday and cured our hangover on the beach followed by a yummie dinner at an italian restaurant.
On Saturday we got up early to go to the burleigh head beach but as soon as we arrived it began to rain. Not even our singing made the sun shine 😩.
In the evening we went to broad beach which is 20 minutes away from us. As usual we pre drunk at the BBQ place after that we went to a techno club which was recommended to us. Even though the music was very good the club was almost empty so we decided to go back to surfers and went there partying. We had seen and experienced a lot of funny things that evening; as singing with a street musician, dancing in a country club and much more 🎉😂.
We enjoyed our last sunday in Surfers on the beach!

We are starting to get excited about our exam! Our speaking test will already be on Friday for this reason we decided to speak only in english from now on! We are doing pretty well...🤙🏽
However, after our speaking we have to catch the flight to Sydney and hopefully we can celebrate our well passed exam.

    Love and miss you♥️
    xoxo Fendi&Meret

Weiter geht's an der East Coast

    May 23, 2019 in Australia ⋅ ⛅ 23 °C

    Surfers Paradise is a town

    November 12, 2019 in Australia ⋅ ☀️ 24 °C

Yes Surfers Paradise is a town. Beat place for surfing and for holiday. Along a 5 km beach named gold coast you will find plenty of hotels in high buildings of more than 50 floors. Difficult to believe it. You must see it. Australian are pretty proud about this local paradise.
It's just 1 hour bus ride from Brisbane and invite you to spend lazy days at the beach.
I had my lazy day and a short cruise

I regret not visiting Palm beach and Miami. Hihi

    Surfers Paradise

    July 10, 2017 in Australia ⋅ ☁️ 19 °C

    Surfer's Paradis
Nachdem Kalina heute morgen die heiße Dusche nochmal genossen hatte ging es wieder on the Road in Richtung Tamborin Mountains.

    Gold Coast/ Surfers Paradies

    March 2, 2017 in Australia ⋅ ⛅ 24 °C

Read more

    Surfers Paradise

    March 20, 2018 in Australia ⋅ ⛅ 28 °C

    Whazzup Peaps :D
Sufers Paradise - Party Paradise for backpacker and locals as well. I guess its the only city at the Eastcoast without tones of asians or at least we havent met many. :D
Instead every second guy we saw was surfer or looked like one :D
We camped at a small beach for two nights without other people, just a little bonfire, pasta and ourselfes.
On our third day we slept in a hostel, nothing special and the club we visited hasn't been the best so far. I can't say that I was impressed by Surfers but here a new mate joined our group. Now we are 4 people in a normal-size Jeep and space becomes rare :D
Next stops of our journey: Nimbin again and one of the most important destinations for many backpackers, Byron Bay.
As soon as I can upload my pictures from the camera I'll show you four more.
    See you guys in Nimbin!
