Lovely walk with exceptional 360 views at the peak. After walk set off on 4 hour drive to Wellington
Trek up Mount Kaukau in Wellington. Hoping for 360 views of Wellington and surrounding area. Low cloud hampered the view but managed to get some pictures as high wind cleared some of the cloud.
The weather finally broke. Cool and wet. But only in the morning 😁. Back to warm and sunny 😎 in the afternoon. Spent the day walking in Wellington. Walked along the sea front. Visited the NewЧитать далее

Flew to Christchurch from Wellington. Rest day today in preparation for Arthur’s Pass
Drove to Arthur’s Pass. Six mile walk on the way. Evening walk to waterfall, Devil’s Punchbowl. Sorry North Island but only one day in South Island and you have been trumped for spectacular viewsЧитать далее

Early start for lovely walk near Arthur’s Pass. Amazing views. A bit chilly in the morning. Then drove to Lake Brunner. Late decision to stay in hotel rather than camp because heavy rain forecast.Читать далее
