Drove directly to Split from Krk. Mostly a coastal road with rugged coastline except for periodic small townships dotted down the coast. Then inland to the autobahn and a quick dash south.

Stopped off at Brela a stunning beach village then on to Ston a Small village in the south about 90 minutes north of Dubrovnik.
We decided to just stay local and wandered around the old town.
Traveled north again stopping at another historic old town of Trogir (just north of Split) and then on to Zadar
2 nights in a Camping cabin just outside the island. Bused in each day.
Walked the city in the late afternoon of the first day with a walk down to the Marco Polo Square.

A big change to the timetable with Israel off the books and generous friends coming to the rescue.

A nice wee town for an overnight in the way north. Visited the spa town renowned for its healing waters in history. Went through the Buxton Crescent and had a great Thai dinner.
I'd been having headaches for a week and then noticed some lesions on my head. Discovered i had opthalmic shingles and so our holiday was disrupted while i tried to get treatment. Shortened our stayOkumaya devam et
Visit with Janice and Neil after a quick stop in Dumfries to see Robbie Burns house. A really relaxed few days catching up while seeing a little of the local towns.

Visited the Falkirk wheel with Janice and Neil on the way to Stirling.
