Final day in Sydney Nick walked from his hostel to Coogie along the coast. Not bad for a major city!
After getting extremely sunburnt surfing, Nick spent the day walking around central Sydney and met up with Sarah and Ollie who were there visiting family.

Nick travels to Cairns only to find there is a once in a generation cyclone approaching. No trips out to the Great Barrier Reef but a visit to the rainforest before an overnight escape on a Greyhound

A good tip from one of our fellow Fraser Island travellers, the sand blow has been caused by high winds lifting sand onto the hill
Nick's namesake gets renamed 4 months before he arrives (for a lot of very good colonial reasons). We get stuck in the sand and overall have a very average day
