Day 9. Visited the Mekong Delta about 2 hours drive from Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) Vietnam.
Day 9 part 2: Last night in Vietnam.Went for a walk around our local area of inner-city Ho Chi Minh and had another delicious Vietnamese BBQ.
Day 10: Bus ride from Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam to Phnom Penh Cambodia. Checked into our hotel (so new there were still stickers on the bathroom basin - I think we may have been that room's first everもっと詳しく
Tour of the Cambodian Royal Palace. Only re-opened 2 days ago due to COVID as the King is still in residence.
Day 11. Visited the ”Killing Fields” and the Genocide museum today in Phnom Penh Cambodia. A very somber experience from the Khmer Rouge atrocities 1975-1979. Very very sad but a must see in Cambodia.
After a very emotional day, it was nice to relax with a swim in the pool and beautiful dinner along the Mekong River.
Bus ride from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap with a stop at Siver City and lunch on the way. Night finished with amazing dinner and a massage.
Day 13. Visited Angkor Wat temple at Siem Reap, Cambodia today. A 12 century wonder of the world which at the time, was the largest city in the world. Absolute bucket List for anyone visiting.
Last day in Cambodia. Flying out at 1640hrs via Singapore.
