It’s been a fabulous few days here in Berlin with perfect weather, great food, and a nesting pair of pigeons. Family time with the kids has been the highlight, of course!

A fantastic start to our Camino! We walked 15 miles along the river and then coastline, much on a boardwalk that goes all the way up Portugal. Impressive! The weather was warm and there was a strongBaca lagi
Today, we left Labruge and walked along the coast for about 10km. More lovely boardwalk. Then we turned inland and walked to Arcos and north to Rates. About 15 miles total. I would say that the roadBaca lagi

The walk was thankfully shorter today, about 10 miles through scenic agricultural areas and smaller towns. Less pavement (although a fair share of cobblestone streets) and more shade. It was a niceBaca lagi
Today I walked solo (but not really). Sarah has some bad blisters on her toes, so she took a rest day and caught a cab to our destination this morning. I started out on my own, but soon met up withBaca lagi
We have crossed into Spain! It was a difficult day for me with a lot of leg pain. But 12+ miles later, we are in Tui at the most beautiful albergue I’ve stayed at. It’s a centuries old convent.Baca lagi
