First Stop in Ireland: Dublin.
A lot of pubs and very international. Although there are many historic sights, the city appears to be a little "washed-up".
Still, a very nice stay.

Definitely a place to recommend: Howth.
Just a little to the east of the city are very beautiful cliffs and a very nice landscape.
