The last leg of our journey was travelling back to London to meet up with some old friends and to kick back and relax.
We went to Harry Potter World and explored the film sets for a few hours 🪄🧙♂️
Afterwards, we made our way to the restaurant 1890 by Gordon Rasmey, where we ate the most expensive meal of our lives 😂Read more
Paris was full of walking, sightseeing and most of all, amazing food and wine 🍷
We fought off the crowds at the Lourve (it took us 15 minutes of waiting to get a pic of the Mona Lisa 😅), took a stroll around the Eiffle Tower and consumed many crepes on our journey.Read more
Rome, Italy, what a beautiful place.
The people, language, food, sights, everything was simply stunning. We decided to make it a goal to eat either pasta or pizza and have a bottle of wine for each meal 🍕🍝🍷 We tried our best to walk off the food and drink throughout our stay by visiting the Pantheon, the Colosseum and Vatican City, racking up 51,000 steps (just under 40km).
3 nights simply was not enough to explore this vast and culturally rich city.Read more
München was full of traditional German food and plenty of beer steins, much to our joy 🍻
In between the drinking and eating, we made our way through the Catholic Church, Asamkirche, and into the main city square, Marienplatz.
Upon entering Marienplatz, we noticed a lot of polizei cars, personnel, and even a helicopter circling the area 😬 turns out München was hosting the 60th Munich Security Conference, housing such people as U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris and President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
After that, we tried to finish our traditional pork knuckle dinner, but ultimately, it was too much to handle.

We trained our way from Amsterdam to our first stop in Germany, Köln. There are many amazing things to see in Germany, but maybe the most beautiful of all is Cologne Catherdral. The rain did not deter us, and we managed to walk through the cathedral as well as along the Hohenzollern Bridge, which crosses over the Rhine River. After a long day of walking, we bought takeaway pizzas and celebrated Valentines Day at home together ❤️Read more
We packed a lot into our short stay in Amsterdam 🇳🇱
We started off our first day by flying in at midnight and getting a few hours of sleep. We got matching tattoos, explored the canals, and finished the day at a coffeeshop. One of us got so high that they almost passed out, while the other almost passed out just from the secondhand smoke 😂
The next day was Emily's birthday 🥳
We did more sightseeing and visited the Rijksmuseum and Cuypers Library.
Finally, to finish off a great birthday, we celebrated at The Duchess for dinner and a surprise dessert.
We even managed to squeeze in a visit to the creepy as all hell wax museum as well.Read more
Vik, population - 318
There wasn't actually much to do in Vik besides buying petrol and eating the most expensive burgers we've ever purchased. Instead, we made our way 200+ km east to Iceland's Diamond Beach, famous for its black volcanic sand and iceberg shards that resemble diamonds. At times, it went below -10°C so we really had to rug up 🥶. Even though it was freezing, it was one of the most magical places we've ever been. We didn't get to see the Northern Lights, so we will have to come back again (what a shame)Read more
Reykjavik is absolute magic ✨️
We flew in from Edinburgh, picked up our car (there is no public transport 😐), and drove to our cosy little room 😊
In the morning, we visited the Hallgrimskirkja Church. After that, we left Jesus behind and went to the penis museum 🍆
We made our way up to Blue Lagoon's geothermal spa for some face masks and relaxing, followed by dinner at the local Michelin Star restaurant.
We woke up the next morning to what we thought was a lovely sunrise. Turns out it was actually the local volcano erupting in the same area we were 10 hours prior, which has now closed the area indefinitely 🫥🌋 Lucky we got in there beforehand!Read more
We've been a little slack posting because I had one day of sickness that threw it outta wack but luckily all better now. Edinburgh has been so fun! We did forget to book tickets for the castle in advance so we missed that, but we went to museums, magic potion bars, ghost tours and lots of fun little random things (like getting to meet an OWL!) - Edinburgh is bloody cold, the wind really get into your bones and it's been good preparation because we're off to Iceland today!Read more
Second day in London did start with me doing my assignment which we didn't capture in photos (is on a tiktok later), but luckily I finished and we got to walk around. We went to St Dunstan in the East Church Garden which was a cool decrepit church. Next we went to a random church we found that had a cafe and a dog inside who is our new best friend. We visited St Paul's but we were too late for the tours. We went to Postman Park just for the Pat joke and some really sad plaques of heros. And finished with a Harry Potter store which Emily spend too much money in!Read more
